We are particularly seeking Governors with experience in fundraising, education and estate management but would welcome Governors with expertise in other areas. We are seeking two Governors to join our board of trustees.
Essential skills include the ability to work as part of team, a commitment to ‘collective responsibility’ and the ability to think strategically. Other skills such as finance, legal, HR and general business skills would be valuable additions.
There is an approximate time commitment of six board meetings per year.
Our school Governors provide an external perspective and an ability to challenge assumptions and look for solutions. You will bring enthusiasm and experience from other areas of life and work together as a well-balanced group of people to support the Head Teacher and staff to drive the school forward.
